About the Role:

We are seeking a Part-Time Entry-Level Maintenance Technician to join our dedicated team at our 186,000 sq ft hospital facility in Dickinson, ND. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior-level candidate to gain valuable experience, with comprehensive training provided.

As a CBRE Facility Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a safe, functional, and comfortable environment for patients, staff, and visitors within our building. You will work under supervision to perform a variety of essential maintenance tasks, contributing directly to the smooth operation of our healthcare facility.

What You’ll Do:- Perform preventive maintenance and address work orders across the facility to ensure optimal functioning of all building systems.

• Self-perform smaller maintenance items and complete weekly and monthly preventive maintenance tasks.
• Maintain all aspects of the facility, including troubleshooting technical issues.
• Conduct maintenance, repairs, and preventive maintenance on plumbing, mechanical, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, chillers, boilers, and water heater systems.
• Adhere strictly to all Infection Control protocols to maintain a sterile and safe environment.
• Assist in maintaining clean and orderly buildings, ensuring quality standards are met.
• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
• Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review assigned work orders and partner with available systems to track completion.
• Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.
• Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems. Exchange straightforward information in a clear, concise manner.
• Impact team through defined duties, methods and tasks as described in detail.
• Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.
  What You’ll Need:- High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
• Experience with mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repairs
• Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
• Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
