Finance Senior Analyst (Reporting)
About the Role:
As a CBRE Finance Senior Analyst, you will support performance reporting within the Business Transformation Office (BTO). This role sits at the intersection of finance, operations and transformation, supporting turning data from multiple sources into clear, actionable insights. This role will play a key role in preparing monthly reporting packs, ensuring data accuracy, and enabling leadership to make informed decisions.This job is part of the Finance and Reporting team in the Business Transformation Office (BTO) that sits above the business segments as a corporate function, responsible for sustainable transformation initiatives across the Company. The BTO drives a consistent, well-governed and pragmatic approach to deliver our strategic objective of driving efficiency through transformation.
What You’ll Do- Prepare monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc performance reporting packs for BTO and Company leadership, ensuring outputs are accurate, timely and decision-ready
- Support the end-to-end reporting cycle, gathering data from multiple systems and stakeholders, consolidating inputs, conducting quality checks and finalizing pack preparation
- Maintain performance dashboards and KPIs that track transformation initiative progress across business segments
- Retrieve, organize and reconcile data across reporting platforms to provide a consistent basis for comparison and evaluation
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of financial and operational data across all reporting cycles, identifying and resolving discrepancies proactively
- Support tracking of initiative financials, including savings, investment costs, and variances across the BTO transformation portfolio
- Compile and compare business case to forecast and actuals data to support overall BTO financial reporting with decision-ready analysis and insights
- Standardize and streamline data collection processes, identifying opportunities for automation and improved data quality
- Build and maintain expertise across BTO reporting tools and platforms, serving as a go-to resource for reporting processes and templates
- Respond to ad hoc reporting requests as required
What You’ll Need- Minimum 3 years of experience in reporting, data analysis, or business performance role
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, including experience working with large data sets
- Strong PowerPoint skills with the ability to translate data into clear, structured narrative for leadership audiences
- Experience working across multiple data sources and reporting systems
- Ability to quickly learn new tools and platforms
- Ability to interpret and communicate financial and operational data to non-finance audiences
- Exceptionally strong attention to detail with a track record of delivering accurate, high-quality outputs under time pressure
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends, variances and insights from complex financial data
- Clear and confident communicator, able to build effective working relationships across the company
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple reporting cycles and deadlines simultaneously
- Fluency in English
- Experience in real estate is a plus
