ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a CBRE Maintenance Technician (Landscape Staff), you will be responsible for maintaining the condition and appearance of grounds, plants and foliage for all assigned properties including mowing and landscaping equipment.

• This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function and is responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.
• This is an entry-level position and will perform general maintenance and landscaping

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Performs all landscape responsibilities (mowing grass, trimming bushes, etc.) within designated project deadlines.
• Reports landscape damage to supervisor on a regular basis, as required.
• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
• Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review assigned work orders and partner with available systems to track completion.
• Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.
• Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems.
• Exchange straightforward information in a clear, concise manner.
• Impact team through defined duties, methods and tasks as described in detail.
• Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. May provide informal assistance such as technical mentorship and/or training to coworkers. May coordinate work and assign tasks.
