We’re looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join the Cato Threat Prevention team. In this critical role, you will work with an excellent group of engineers to solve architectural and engineering challenges across both inline and out-of-band security. As part of the role, you’ll also have the opportunity to work with cutting edge AI technologies - to further enhance and accelerate our development cycle and security capabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Work on Cato’s highest profile security products
- From design all the way to implementation of enterprise grade, high scale and volume processing services
- Researching new technologies and adapting them for use within company’s products
- Collaborating with multiple teams - development, product, automation, SRE, DevOps
Requirements:
- 6+ years of backend development. We’re using Java, Go, Spring boot, GQL, etc.
- Experience in building and operating SaaS microservices with high scale and load in production.
- Experience testing services in continuous integration methodology.
- Ability to cope with basic Frontend tasks,
- degree in Computer Science from a known university or similar.
- Motivated, a fast learner, independent, and great at problem-solving.
Advantages:
- Familiarity with AWS technologies and a variety of infra tools
- PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis and more.
- Knowledge and experience in designing and implementing security products.
- Experience working on large monitoring and analytics projects.
