Job Summary: As a Simulation Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and testing engineering simulation software for construction machinery applications. The scope includes working tools (e.g., buckets, tracks), soil, rock, tires, and ground interaction. This role requires strong programming skills in C++, FORTRAN, and Python, combined with a solid foundation in mechanics and mathematics. Familiarity with multi-body dynamics and simulation workflows is highly desirable. You will also participate in software development lifecycle activities, including design, testing, and release management. What You Will Do:

• Develop and maintain simulation software for engineering applications in construction machinery.
• Implement and optimize algorithms for soil, rock, tire and ground interaction modeling.
• Collaborate with simulation engineers to integrate models for working tools, tires, and tracks.
• Perform simulation task to support product research and development.
• Perform software testing, debugging, and validation to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Manage software release processes, including version control and documentation.
• Continuously improve simulation accuracy, efficiency, and automation

Work Experience and Education requirement:

• 5 years+ relevant work experience.
• Requires a master’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.

What skills will you have:

Programming & Software Development:

• Proficiency in C++, FORTRAN, and Python.
• Familiarity with software development, testing, and release management processes.
• Experience in numerical methods and algorithm optimization.

Engineering & Simulation Knowledge:

• Solid understanding of mechanics and multi-body dynamics.
• Knowledge of soil, rock, tire and ground interaction modeling.
• Ability to integrate simulation models for complex systems.

Simulation Model Building and Integration:

• Develop a deep working knowledge of operation and application of construction machinery and mining equipment.

• Build machine simulation model, scope of which include linkage, tire and soil / rock etc.

• Integrate sub-system models, including power system, hydraulic system, control system and operator model etc.

• Assess the simulation model issues and debug the model efficiently.

• Responsible for model garage development and simulation model management.

• Rigid body kinematics analysis of complex systems.

Additional Information:

The location for this position is Wuxi, Jiangsu
This position will require less than 10% travel.
