Scope of Position:
As a Service Sales Representative, you will be crucial to our business by expanding ALC’s customer base and working to exceed sales targets. We are looking for a team member who is a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at building relationships, has outstanding customer service skills, and has demonstrated a passion for service. This role will provide you with the opportunity to learn and develop skills essential for a successful sales career.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow assigned territory and group of accounts.
- Achieve or exceed annual sales and gross margin targets.
- Develop long-term relationships and build partnerships with assigned accounts.
- Position Automated Logic (ALC) as the preferred BAS controls provider.
- Tailor ALC’s service solutions to match the customers’ technical and business requirements to deliver unmatched value.
- Utilize sales tools effectively to plan and document progress as well as increase business opportunities within accounts.
- Maintain current service agreements, while actively pursuing new agreements.
- Generate a high level of activity to feed the sales pipeline and manage opportunities to successfully move them through the sales cycle to close.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with external customers and internal staff to deliver quality results and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Act as customers’ advocate.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2+ years of service sales or service agreement direct sales experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Business, Accounting, or related field.
- 3+ years of HVAC controls or building automation sales experience.
- Experience in using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) or similar software.
- Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to successfully work independently.
- Strong interpersonal skills to be able to connect with customers and other employees.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications.

Pay Range:
The annual salary for this position is $80,750–$113,250. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.
