About the Role
We are seeking a Production Manager (Heat Exchanger) to lead high-volume manufacturing operations within heat exchanger and coil production. This role is responsible for ensuring safe, stable, and efficient production, while consistently delivering on quality, cost, and on-time delivery targets.
You will play a key role in driving shopfloor performance, process stability, and workforce capability, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth production flow and alignment with business and operational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily operations of heat exchanger / coil manufacturing to ensure safe, stable, and efficient production
- Execute production plans aligned with demand and delivery commitments
- Drive performance across safety, quality, delivery, and cost (SQDC)
- Ensure process stability and control in manufacturing and assembly operations
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for production and quality issues
- Partner with Quality and Engineering teams to improve process capability and reduce defects
- Drive productivity improvement through manpower optimization and process efficiency
- Monitor and control manufacturing costs including labor, scrap, and operational losses
- Coordinate with Production Planning, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Quality teams
- Ensure material availability and smooth production flow
- Support new product introduction and production ramp-up activities
- Lead and develop supervisors and frontline teams, strengthening discipline and problem-solving capability
- Drive Lean, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing preferred)
- 8–12 years of experience, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role
- Experience in heat exchanger, coil, piping, or process-driven manufacturing
- Strong leadership in high-volume production environments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively
- Good command of English
