About the role

As a Buyer, you will play a key role in supporting manufacturing continuity by ensuring material availability, managing supplier performance, and maintaining healthy inventory levels across production operations. This role is critical to maintaining clear-to-build coverage while collaborating closely with suppliers and cross-functional teams to support operational excellence and business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Buyer, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Ensuring daily clear-to-build coverage to support uninterrupted manufacturing operations
  • Managing inventory levels, including WIP control, excess and obsolete materials
  • Monitoring and maintaining procurement metrics through LeanDNA, including lead time compliance, past due POs, pull-ins and pull-outs
  • Coordinating with suppliers to expedite deliveries, resolve shortages, and improve service performance
  • Supporting procurement activities such as purchase orders, supplier follow-up, cost analysis, and operational planning

Requirements

We are looking for people who are proactive, analytical, organized, and able to work in fast-paced manufacturing environments. If this is you, get in touch.

As a minimum you must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, Business, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in procurement, materials planning, or supply chain roles within manufacturing environments
  • Experience managing purchase orders, supplier follow-up, and inventory control activities
  • Knowledge of MRP systems, procurement processes, and supply chain operations
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to work cross-functionally

Although not necessary, it would be nice if you have:

  • Experience using LeanDNA and/or BIPIX
  • Experience managing raw materials such as steel or electromechanical components
  • English communication skills (written and verbal)
