About the role
As a Cost Leader, you will play a critical role in driving cost transparency, accuracy, and performance across operations. This position is responsible for leading costing processes, delivering insightful variance analysis, supporting month‑end close activities, and partnering with leadership through high‑quality reporting and presentations. You will also act as a key owner of audit‑related activities, while managing and developing talent within the cost function.
Key Responsibilities
As a Cost Leader, you’ll be responsible for:

Ensuring costing processes and analysis, including roll‑ups, OMV/OPV reporting, inventory targets, and material production costing

Preparing, reviewing, and presenting variance analysis results to management and leadership teams

Developing clear and impactful presentations for corporate reviews

Ensuring accurate execution of product costings

Supporting and ensuring timely month‑end close activities related to cost accounts

Owning audit activities related to annual physical inventory processes

Analyzing E&O, PPV, scrap, and other cost‑related performance metrics
-
Leading, coaching, and managing staff to drive performance and professional development
Requirements

As a minimum you must have:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field

4–5 years of experience in cost, accounting, or finance roles

Advanced knowledge of accounting, finance, and administrative processes

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience working with SAP
-
Advanced English proficiency
Although not necessary, it would be nice if you have:

Experience using Power BI for data analysis and visualization
-
Experience with BPCS (AS400)
-
MBA or Master’s degree in Finance
