JOB DESCRIPTION OF M365 ENGINEER.

Responsibilities:

· Design, implement, and manage Microsoft 365 (M365) solutions, including Exchange Online, Share Point Online, Teams, One Drive, and other M365 services.

• Lead the migration of on-premises systems to M365, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.

• Develop and maintain M365 governance policies, security protocols, and compliance standards.

• Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for M365-related issues, working closely with IT support teams.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate M365 services with other enterprise applications.

• Stay up to date with the latest M365 features, updates, and best practices, and provide training and guidance to junior engineers and end-users.

• Monitor and optimize M365 performance, ensuring high availability and reliability of services.

• Manage M365 licensing and subscriptions, ensuring cost-effective utilization of resources.

• Monitor, maintain and optimize an enterprise messaging environment including office 365, Exchange 2019 (along with future versions of Exchange)

Technical Skills:

Advance knowledge and use of PowerShell for scripting and automation Exchange Server Administration: Expertise in managing and maintaining on-premises Exchange Server environments, including installation, configuration, and upgrades. Design and support migration efforts from multiple source environment technologies to corporate standard infrastructure**. Background in Quest On Demand, Bit Titan and Sharegate** Deep knowledge of Microsoft Teams administration, App management, policy creation and 3rd party integration Expertise in providing solutions for** High Availability in Exchange.Planning, configuring and managing Messaging security, administrative security and auditing.Experience in Monitoring, troubleshooting the server using tools such as event viewer, MMC, Exchange Management shell, power shell.Experience Office 365 migrations and hybrid solutions. Expertise in migration of Microsoft messaging technologies of newer versions. Migration from ON - premises to online Office 365.Knowledge in Synchronizing Directory from On-premises to Office 365 using different Identities as per business needs.Experience in Security and Compliance by Managing Data loss prevention and Data governance.Proficient in message tracking and troubleshooting to resolve mail delivery issues.**Expertise in configuring and deploying ATP, DLP and Threat Protection Policies for SPAM, PHISH and Malware Strong knowledge email security framework DKIM,**DMARC **and SPF Administer and manage Power Platform environments, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI, providing support to developers and ensuring seamless integration and functionality. Integrate and manage various applications and bots within Microsoft Teams, ensuring they meet organizational requirements and security standards, and provide support and troubleshooting as needed.
