About the role

Carrier is seeking a Power BI Developer to support the CCS business. This role is focused on building and maintaining Power BI data models, dashboards, and KPIs that enable data-driven decisions across service operations and financial performance.

The individual will support analytics development from requirements through delivery, working with business stakeholders to ensure dashboards are accurate, scalable, and aligned to CCS processes such as service agreements, work orders, and revenue tracking.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Power BI datasets, data models, and dashboards for CCS reporting

• Create and optimize DAX measures to support key service and financial KPIs

• Translate business requirements into data models, calculations, and report visuals

• Ensure proper fact/dimension modeling (star schema) for scalable reporting

• Support KPIs such as renewal rates, PM completion, technician productivity, and revenue performance

• Work with data from SAP, Salesforce, and service/work order systems

• Validate data accuracy and troubleshoot issues across reports and source systems

• Improve performance of reports through model optimization and efficient DAX

• Support enhancements to existing dashboards and development of new reports

• Partner with business and analytics teams to ensure consistent KPI definitions

• Provide support to users on report usage and metric interpretation

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required

• 6-10 years of experience in Power BI or BI development roles

• Hands-on experience with Power BI (data modeling, DAX, report development)

• Strong understanding of basic data modeling (fact/dimension tables)

• Experience working with business data (ERP, CRM, or operational systems)

• Ability to translate business questions into technical BI solutions

• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy

• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with SAP, Salesforce, or service-related data

• Experience supporting operations or service-based reporting

• Exposure to Power Platform tools (Power Automate, Power Apps)

• Understanding of KPI design and reporting best practices

• Exposure to setting up Data Models for AI
