This position will support the global MAST (Maritime Asset Strategy Transformation) Program by overseeing the department and program financials. This includes building, tracking, and reporting on the following items: P&L (including annual operating plan, forecasts, and year-over-year analysis), Value Realization on MAST initiatives and Financial Targets, MAST Capital Projects, Headcount reporting, and ad-hoc leadership and business requests.
Responsibilities

Consolidate, analyze, and report MAST Activity from all the initiatives, capital projects and department activities, highlighting trends for Executive Management.

Consolidate all submissions for the Annual Planning Process and the Quarterly Forecast Process (including running GL reports, management of GL entries) and provide it to Executive Management along with an analysis of such submissions.

Preparation of materials to be used in ongoing leadership discussions (Steering Committee meetings, Transformation Management Office, ad-hoc C-Suite requests).

Preparation of presentations to upper management.

Ad-hoc analysis requested by executive management.
Requirements
-
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, economics or related field - or MBA
-
3-5 years of experience in financial roles with some experience in budgeting and forecasting, and other planning and analysis

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial modeling techniques, and building into Power Point presentations, Power Bi or similar tool
-
Detail-oriented, strong analytical and organizational skills
-
Experience building and maintaining financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning
-
Hands-on involvement in budgeting and forecasting cycles, including variance analysis and performance tracking
-
Experience analyzing large datasets and translating insights into actionable business recommendations
-
Proven ability to partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., operations, IT, Finance) to support decision-making
-
Experience preparing and presenting financial reports to senior management or stakeholders

This position is classified as “in-office.” As an in-office role, it requires employees to work from a designated Carnival office in South Florida Monday through Thursday each week. Employees may work from their home on Fridays. Candidates must be located in (or willing to relocate to) the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area.

Part-time with benefits employees receive time off based on the number of hours they work, with a minimum of 84 hours/year. All employees gain additional vacation time with further tenure.

Sick Time – All full-time employees receive 80 hours of sick time each year. Part-time with benefits employees receive time off based on the number of hours they work, with a minimum of 60 hours each year.
