The Inventory Supervisor is responsible for managing and coordinating daily inventory and warehouse operations at one or more Carnival Corporation owned and operated global destination. This role involves overseeing the receipt, storage, and distribution of products and supplies, ensuring that all processes are carried out efficiently, accurately, and in a timely manner. The Inventory Supervisor monitors stock levels, organizes inventory, and implements proper handling procedures to maintain the quality and safety of goods. Additionally, this role includes supervising warehouse staff, optimizing workflow, and ensuring compliance with organizational policies and industry standards. The Inventory Supervisor plays a key role in maintaining smooth operational processes, minimizing errors, and supporting overall organizational efficiency.

1. Warehouse Operations

  • Monitor and assess stock levels regularly to ensure adequate inventory and report replenishment needs.
  • Stock supplies and maintain warehouse organization and equipment.
  • Assist with receiving, unloading, sorting, counting, and verifying incoming items.
  • Support procurement activities and contribute to purchasing decisions.
  • Audit and reconcile incoming materials to ensure accuracy of documentation and counts.
  • Conduct periodic stock takes and participate in scheduled inventory counts.
  • Maintain communication with staff, management, and vendors to coordinate supply needs.
  • Prepare operational and inventory reports as required.
  • Implement environmental and sustainability policies in day-to-day operations.
  • Identify slow-moving or obsolete items and update supervisors for appropriate action.
  • Assist in developing purchase plans to maintain consistent stock availability.

2.

Supervision and Leadership:

  • Schedule shifts and allocate tasks to warehouse staff to optimize workflow.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Assist in resolving workplace conflicts and support team development.
  • Participate in performance evaluations and provide guidance to staff as needed.

3. Process Improvement

  • Identify and report non-moving or obsolete inventory.
  • Utilize warehouse management systems and tools to enhance efficiency.
  • Collaborate with management to develop and implement operational policies and best practices.
  • Recommend workflow improvements and operational enhancements.

4.

Compliance and Safety:

  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
  • Report and address safety hazards or incidents promptly.
  • Uphold environmental and safety policies in all warehouse activities.

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or GED or Associate’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related field or equivalent experience is required; additional education in Hospitality or a related field is a plus
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience working in Warehouse environment.

SKILLS & SPECIFICATIONS:

  • Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
  • Inventory control Microsoft Office Suite

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Fluency in conversational English
  • Ability to speak English clearly, distinctly, and cordially with employees and guests.
  • Ability to read and write English to understand and interpret written procedures. This includes the ability to give and receive instructions in written and verbal forms and to effectively present information and respond to questions from guests, managers, and co-workers.

**PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: **

  • Must be physically fit.
  • Must have excellent customer service skills.
  • Must have excellent communication and planning skills
  • Ability to work in an outdoor environment.
  • Ability to multi-task and think critically.

  • Working knowledge of supply chain management or related field.
