This position is in Cargill's animal nutrition and health business, where we improve animal lives through better nutrition. Our team researches, innovates and creates solutions that deliver healthy results for our customers.
Job Purpose and Impact:
The Global Marketing Species Lead will develop and execution of global marketing strategies and annual plans for assigned species portfolios and initiatives. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution to deliver compelling value propositions, integrated campaigns, and customer-centric solutions that contribute to business growth through a cross functional and global team.
The successful candidate will be highly ambitious, strategically minded with high power of execution that will lead the evolution of the marketing agenda at a global level for the animal nutrition and health solutions business. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, transformative environment and is passionate about building brands and delivering business growth through marketing activation.
- Key Accountabilities
- Develop and implement global marketing strategies, annual plans, and promotional programs aligned with business objectives and financial targets.
- Champion the execution of global brand strategies acting as a guardian of the brands and a leader in the understanding of the brands and their role in the business
- Drive brand positioning and differentiation through integrated marketing initiatives across channels and regions.
- Lead the planning of global marketing initiatives like campaigns, product launches, and programs, ensuring timely delivery and measurable impact.
- Oversee and collaborate together with marketing communications teams as well as marketing agencies for the creation of integrated campaigns, marketing collateral, digital content, and training materials to support commercial teams.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to analyze customer needs, market trends, and competitive intelligence to inform marketing decisions and innovation.
- Work in collaboration to develop and activate differentiated value propositions and experiences to strengthen loyalty and growth of our global brands.
- Build strong partnerships across different teams both at a global and regional level to ensure integrated execution.
- Independently manage complex projects and escalate only the most critical issues.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Qualifications Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business or related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of six years of related work experience in global and regional marketing strategy planning and execution
- Marketing project management experience with the ability to manage projects in a matrixed, decentralized organization
- Ability to travel up to 20%
- Flexibility to work across multiple time zones
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA, master's degree in marketing or related field
- Experience in value proposition development, digital marketing, campaign planning and execution
- Experience in agriculture, animal nutrition and health, food/feed or manufacturing industry
- B2B marketing experience including brand management and customer experience initiatives
- Cross-functional global teams working experience and able to influence others without direct authority
- Ability to present with a diverse group of individuals on all business levels
Applicant Information:
The expected salary for this position is approximately $130,000 to $165,000. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, certifications, education, and level of experience. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. This position is eligible for a discretionary incentive award. The incentive award amount is dependent upon company performance and your personal.
