Job Purpose and Impact:

The Junior Trader / Trader will participate in trading and risk management of our regional cash activities and in remote selling to both new and existing customers.

• Key Accountabilities
• Execute and monitor the short term trading strategies and books for a specific commodity
• Coordinate trading efforts across the risk management trading desks to create joint product optimizations or swap opportunities that meet the multifaceted needs of our customers and our internal trading.
• Work directly with customers, suppliers and business counterparts to develop business solutions to meet their needs.
• Research and analyze various market inputs and opportunities in the marketplace to maximize margin.
• Collaborate with trade execution, finance, regional marketing team and credit manager to ensure efficient execution.
• Coordinate sales and marketing efforts with regional teams as well as other stakeholders across the enterprise.
• Reconcile profit and loss estimates and reports that require some interpretation of trading practices and procedures.
• Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.

Qualifications:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Minimum of two to four years of related work experience
• Data Science fluency preferred
• Other minimum qualifications may apply
