Job Purpose and Impact

The Shipping and Receiving Clerk II will perform general inbound and outbound shipments are handled properly using an understanding of warehouse processes and procedures and works under regular guidance. In this role, you will complete activities involved with the receipt and documentation of the shipment and receipt of goods and ensure documentation and record keeping is accurate.

Key Accountabilities

• Review and complete shipping and receiving documentation, enter information into computerized systems and resolve discrepancies or issues as needed, by working with knowledge of processes and procedures.
• Conduct cycle counts.
• Stabilize trucks with chocks and may load and unload vehicles.
• Operate mobile powered equipment.
• Interact with peers and management to pursue continuous improvement of facility operations relative responsibilities and knowledge with authority to make minor changes, as defined by management.
• Understand and adhere to all safety policies and procedures including equipment lock ins and outs and maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Licencia B3 al día (Dos años de experiencia)
• Escolaridad primaria completa o superior
• Capacidad de realizar tareas físicas como flexionarse, subir y bajar gradas, arrodillarse, agacharse o hacer torsión de forma segura, con o sin adaptación razonable
• Capacidad de levantar hasta 25 kilos con o sin ajustes razonable
• Capacidad de trabajar en diversas condiciones interiores y exteriores que puedan incluir frio de alrededor de 0 y 12 grados
• Capacidad de leer y escribir en español sin dificultad
• Capacidad de trabajar horas extra, incluidos fines de semana, feriados o turnos diferentes, con aviso previo
• Poseer un mínimo de 1 año de experiencia trabajando en puestos similares
• Residir en San Rafael o alrededores
