About the Team / Role:

As part of the Enterprise Supplier Management (ESM) Data Product Manager Role, you will:

• Manage intent and partner with your tech team on the discovery, design and development of data products which will be used by both internal and external customers

• Support the Senior Product Manager in crafting the vision, strategy & success metrics for ESM Data Products

• Own the full product lifecycle for products in your team’s portfolio

• Engage with users, business stakeholders & product partners to identify data needs, uses & its movement across ESM and the Enterprise

• Create & maintain a 6-12 month product roadmap, in collaboration with the Senior Product Manager, and coordinate with teams for execution (Tech, Data Analysts, Designers, Business Stakeholders, Change Management)

• Develop detailed product specifications, business-driven test scenarios, acceptance criteria and success measures – like product instrumentation, data storage & movement, accessibility, usability via tools, and frequency

• Manage & Prioritize Feature and story backlog within the agile team to track development

• Support data consumer go-live/launch activities as needed (end-to-end tests, communication, data dictionaries, launch checklists, etc.)

Basic Qualifications:

• At least 1 years of experience working in Product Management

• Bachelor’s Degree or military experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability to write basic SQL for data analysis and understanding of relational database structure (tables, schemas, keys)

• 1+ years translating business strategy or analysis into consumer facing digital products

• 1+ years working with cross functional teams as a product owner in an agile development process

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

Mc Lean, VA: $111,200 - $126,900 for Sr. Associate, Product Management

Richmond, VA: $101,100 - $115,400 for Sr. Associate, Product Management

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
