Senior Due Diligence Specialist:

The Due Diligence Specialist is responsible for coordinating and conducting new due diligence and periodic review on Payments partners which encompass multiple risk disciplines and engage numerous internal and external business partners.

• They will collect and verify due diligence elements to satisfy Know Your Customer (KYP) and Customer Identification Program (CIP) requirements, including Beneficial Ownership and Evidence of Existence.

• Manage and maintain Partner records within the system of record and enhance the system of record through continuous improvement.

• Act as risk contact for various topics including regulatory risks for both internal and external partners, managing relationships between key stakeholders to ensure alignment of deliverables and Service Level Agreements.

• Actively manage and escalate risk and customer-impacting issues within the day-to-day role of management.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or military experience

• At least 1 year of Risk management experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of experience in Project or process management

• At least 2 year of experience in Risk Management

• At least 2 years of experience in Presentation/Communication

• At least 1 year of experience in Change management

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

Riverwoods, IL: $87,700 - $100,100 for Sr. Risk Associate

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
