What You'll Do (Responsibilities)

• Provide high-quality on-site and remote technical support to Canvanauts across China.

• Deliver AV and event technology support for in-person, hybrid, and remote events — including gathering technical requirements and partnering with stakeholders to ensure seamless execution.

• Support and troubleshoot all on-site hardware including Mac Books, mobile devices, network infrastructure, printers, and video conferencing systems.

• Manage Canva China hardware assets, including procurement, vendor coordination, provisioning, inventory accuracy, and lifecycle management.

• Support onboarding and offboarding across China, including hardware preparation, account provisioning, and access de-provisioning.

• Contribute to our global support model by responding to service requests across multiple service channels, with a focus on supporting users in China.

• Contribute to Global IT Operations and IT Supergroup goals to continuously improve service delivery, automation, and user experience.

What You'll Have (Skills)

• Strong written and verbal English communication skills (essential) - you’ll collaborate daily with global teams.

• Demonstrated experience providing in-person IT support in an enterprise environment.

• Experience supporting Apple / Mac devices.

• Experience supporting collaboration and productivity tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Okta, Slack, Zoom, Jira, Confluence).

• Experience supporting event technology (video conferencing, audio, hybrid setups).

• Exposure to onboarding/offboarding processes and access provisioning.

• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

• A proactive mindset - you don’t wait to be told what’s broken.

Canva is seeking a highly motivated IT/AV Support Engineer to join our China IT Operations team (Beijing) to support Canvanauts to do the best work of their lives!

This role is about more than resolving tickets. You’ll help power one of Canva’s most strategic regions - supporting teams working at the forefront of AI innovation in China. You’ll be hands-on with campus technology, events, hardware, and user experience, while contributing to a globally distributed IT operations team focused on continuous improvement and automation.
