What you’d be doing in this role

As Canva scales change continues to be part of our DNA. But we like to think that's all part of the fun. So this will give you the flavour of the type of things you'll be working on when you start, but this will likely evolve.

As Canva’s Marketing Specialist in Indonesia, you will be the execution powerhouse supporting the Country Marketing Lead across campaigns, partnerships, and events. You will play a critical role in bringing marketing strategies to life on the ground, ensuring seamless coordination, strong local execution, and high-quality delivery across initiatives.

We’re looking for a highly organized and proactive marketer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys turning plans into action. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, hands-on, and excited to build integrated marketing campaigns that drive real business impact. You will work closely with internal cross-functional teams, external agencies, and partners to support campaign rollouts, partnership activations, and flagship events in Indonesia.

At the moment, this role is focused on:

• Support the execution of Indonesia’s marketing campaigns and initiatives, ensuring activities are delivered on time and to a high standard.
• Assist in coordinating campaign timelines, trackers, and deliverables to keep projects running smoothly.
• Work closely with regional and global teams to help localise campaigns and marketing assets for the Indonesian market.
• Coordinate with agencies, vendors, and partners to support campaign rollouts and activations.
• Assist in the execution of partnerships and co-branded marketing initiatives.
• Support the planning and delivery of on-ground and virtual events, including logistics and materials.
• Help track campaign performance and gather data to support reporting and post-campaign analysis.
• Prepare briefs, presentations, and updates to keep stakeholders informed.
• Identify and raise potential risks or gaps in execution, and support problem-solving with the team.

What we're looking for

• You have 1–2+ years of experience in marketing, brand, partnerships, events, or a related field.
• You have strong attention to detail and can support multiple projects at once.
• You have good organisational and coordination skills, and are keen to develop your project management capabilities.
• You have some exposure to working with agencies, vendors, or external partners (a plus).
• You have strong written and verbal communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
• You’re comfortable working in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
• You have a basic understanding of marketing metrics and are interested in learning how to use data to improve campaigns.
• You’re proactive, eager to learn, and open to feedback.
• You’re passionate about marketing, brand building, and helping businesses grow with Canva.
