Empowering the world to design.
Social Marketing Manager at Canva
About the role
Join the team changing how the world designs - billions of times over.
Ready to make meaningful impact? You’re in the right place.
Every role at Canva is part of something bigger. Here’s what this one looks like, what we offer and why we think you’ll love it here.
Where and how you’ll work Thailand
Thailand is an exciting new chapter in Canva’s journey across Southeast Asia - where creativity, culture, and community come together in inspiring ways. With our global HQ in Sydney, we’re growing our presence here by building something truly local. You’ll collaborate with a cross-functional team on the ground, while staying connected to Canvanauts around the world.
What you’ll be working on
As Canva continues to grow, change is part of how we move forward. That means the role you step into today will likely evolve right alongside you.
-
Own Canva Thailand's social presence from the ground up — building the strategy, producing content, managing the community, and reporting on what's working (and what isn't)
-
Create high-performing, trend-led content for Tik Tok and Instagram Reels that taps into Thai cultural moments in real time, for audiences including educators, SMEs, freelancers, and creators
-
Show up on camera as Canva Thailand's social face, bringing the brand to life with confidence and authentic storytelling
-
Partner with local creators and influencers, and collaborate cross-functionally to keep content fresh, far-reaching, and genuinely local
-
Adapt global campaigns for the Thai market while developing original, audience-specific content that feels like it was made for Thailand — because it was
-
Track performance metrics, draw meaningful insights, and use data to continuously sharpen your content strategy
You'll thrive in this role if
-
YOU live and breathe Thai digital culture — you know what's trending before it peaks, and your instincts for what resonates on Tik Tok and Instagram are sharp and hard-won
-
YOU'RE a hands-on creator who can ideate, shoot, edit, design in Canva, and publish without waiting for a production team to make something great
-
YOU'RE equally energised by building a strategy and executing it yourself — you can zoom out to set direction and zoom back in to make the content
-
YOU'VE worked closely with creators, influencers, and cross-functional teams before — you know how to build those relationships, get the best out of collaborators, and keep everyone aligned when there are a lot of voices in the room.
-
YOU treat data as a creative tool, not just a reporting exercise — you learn from performance quickly and iterate without getting precious about your ideas
-
YOU'RE analytical and structured by nature — you track what matters, draw clear insights from performance data, and move quickly to optimise without losing creative momentum.
Meet the team
You'll be joining the Southeast Asia marketing team, working closely with both the local Thailand crew and the broader regional social team. We're a group of people who genuinely care about Canva's growth in the region and believe that the best way to build it is through content that feels unmistakably local. This role has real ownership from day one — you'll set the direction for Canva Thailand's social presence, bring it to life, and see the results of your work in the wild. You'll have the support of a cross-functional team around you and the backing of a global brand that gives you the room to make things distinctly, unapologetically Thai.
Why you’ll love it here
We’re on a mission to empower the world to design, and we're having fun while doing it. Think work that motivates you, moments that surprise you, and an energy that inspires you to do the best work of your life.
And because doing your best work starts with feeling supported, we offer benefits designed with you in mind.
Here’s a peek at what we offer:
-
Equity packages so our success is yours too
-
Inclusive parental leave that supports all parents and carers
-
An annual Vibe & Thrive allowance to support your wellbeing, social connection, office setup and more
-
