JOB TITLE: A.M Bakery Maintenance Leader B

OF OPENINGS: ONE (1)

BASE RATE/HOUR: $43.25

HOURS: 6:45a.m. to 7:00p.m. (Normal workweek Bakery Maintenance Schedule but hours may vary with production schedule) Must be able to work overtime. Start and end times may be adjusted based on business needs.

Job Description Summary:

This position, which reports to the Bakery Maintenance Supervisor, is responsible for coordinating and overseeing daily work activities of Bakery Maintenance personnel. The incumbent will prioritize assignments, troubleshoot problems, and follow up with Mechanics to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks. In addition, the jobholder will maintain ongoing communication with Operations to discuss issues and provide updates on Maintenance activities. Other duties include maintaining the accuracy of the SAP Work Order System and serving as liaison for outside contractors.

• Candidates for the position must possess a minimum of three years’ previous Industrial Maintenance experience in a food manufacturing environment and demonstrate leadership abilities. Completion of Industrial Technology coursework is required. Additional qualifications include excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as computer literacy and proficiency with the SAP System.

Approximate working hours for this position are 6:45 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on the continuous maintenance schedule. Because hours will vary with the production schedule, flexibility to work alternate schedules is required. Availability for overtime work is essential to support other leaders’ absences and scheduled vacations. Must be able to work overtime. Start and end times may be adjusted based on business needs.
