How You Will Make History Here…
The Campbell’s Company is seeking an Associate Manager, Corporate Communications to join a dynamic communications team focused on strategic storytelling, primarily supporting external communications. This role is ideal for a high energy, forward thinking communicator who thrives in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment and wants to help write the next chapter of an iconic company’s history. You will play a critical role in elevating and protecting the company’s reputation through impactful storytelling and thoughtful engagement across audiences and channels.
What You Will Do…

Support external communications initiatives that align with business priorities and protect and enhance the company’s reputation.

Support proactive and reactive media relations, building strong relationships with business, trade, local, and community press.

Monitor critical issues impacting the company’s business, brand, and reputation, and prepare mitigation and response plans for time-sensitive situations.

Support executive visibility plans for the operating committee.

Track, analyze, and report on media coverage and communications KPIs to measure impact and inform continuous improvement.
Who You Will Work With…
You will collaborate closely with communications colleagues and partner across a matrixed organization, working with business leaders and executives to advance external communications, help manage issues, and support executive visibility. This role requires strong cross functional partnership and the ability to work effectively with multiple levels of the organization.
What You Bring To The Table… (Must Have)

4+ years of experience in communications
-
Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, English, or a related field (additional education counts for additional years of experience).

Proven experience in external communications, including storytelling, strategic planning, media relations, and change management.

Exceptional writing and interpersonal skills across a variety of formats, including presentations, digital content, social media, blogs, video, and newsletters.

Strong collaboration skills and the ability to partner with leaders across a matrixed organization.
-
Demonstrated experience in media relations, policy communications, and issues management.
-
General business and financial literacy, with a strong interest in news and current events shaping the business environment.
-
Strong research and fact‑checking capabilities.
-
Adaptable, proactive, highly organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
It Would Be Great If You Have… (Nice To Have)

Experience using collaboration and publishing tools such as Microsoft Share Point.

Design and editing skills, including experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and video production tools.

Experience working in a public company or agency environment.
Compensation and Benefits:
The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between
$81,500-$117,200
Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
