The Opportunity:
As a CACI Operational Planner, you will serve 389th MI BN, 1st SFC and USASOC, conducting operational planning and analysis in support of global SOF Plans, Objectives and Emerging Threats mitigation efforts while providing quality control of future, deliberate, and contingency planning. You will conduct compartmented planning for operations in highly sensitive environments. You will provide support to SOF and conventional organizations by combining concepts (CONOPs) and doctrine with structured analytical and planning techniques to provide expert advice to policy makers, planners, and operational forces.
Responsibilities:
You will embed with the 389th MI BN and other staffs to assist operational and tactical planning with the 1st SFC staff and subordinate units. Provide Operational Planning expertise integrating intelligence doctrine, operations, policy, authorities, and lessons learned to support senior leader decision making. Produces and executes SOF orders and operations, conducts battle tracking and maintains situational awareness on SOF activities for the command. Coordinates and integrates joint staff, ASD-SOLIC, USD-P, USSOCOM, USSOUTHCOM, FBI, DOE, DHS, ICE, CPB, CIA, DEA, DOJ, DOS activities into USNORTHCOM operations. Lead, conduct, and validate research and analysis and prepare information papers, decision papers, and briefings to inform command leadership.
Qualifications:
Required:

Current Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security clearance. CI Poly or ability to obtain a CI Poly.

Master’s degree in a related field and 3 years of specialized experience; OR Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 6 years of specialized experience; OR 10 years of specialized experience.

Former Special Operations field grade officer, warrant officer, or senior non-commissioned officer with a minimum of six years recent relevant specialized experience as a U.S. Army Career Military Field / Military Occupational Specialty 18-series soldier, USN Seals, or MARSOC Advanced Skills Element or Critical Skills Operator 0372 Raider.

Candidate must be an Advanced Special Operations Training Course (ASOTC) (or equivalent) graduate; Special Warfare Training Course (SWTC), Jedburgh Individual Training Course (JITC) or ASOT Manager’s Course graduation is preferred.

Demonstrated experience conducting, supporting, and/or managing sensitive activities and the Joint Planning Process is preferred.

Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written; possess the ability to organize and deliver verbal and written products that achieve an exceptionally high standard.

Strong attention to detail.

Ability to work independently with limited oversight or as part of a diverse team.

Shift work is required, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as operational requirements dictate.

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$99,800 - $219,600
