The Opportunity:

The Warehouse Specialist will work in support of the C5ISR Headquarters and subordinate directorates at Aberdeen Proving Ground MD. Individual will be working on a government site with the customer and associated contractors as part of the C5ISR warehouse team. This position will play a critical role in the proper tracking and accountability of potentially sensitive materials for key U.S. Army programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Performs a variety of warehousing duties, which require an understanding of the establishment’s storage plan.
  • Verifying materials (or merchandise) against receiving documents, noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damage; routing materials to prescribed storage locations; storing stacking, or palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods’ rearranging and taking inventory of stored materials; examining stored materials and reporting deterioration and damage; removing material from storage and preparing for shipment.
  • May operate hand or power trucks in performing warehouse activities.General Construction, HVAC, Electrical and/or facility operations
    Manages moderate program/technical support operations.
  • Organizes, directs, and coordinates planning and execution of program or technical support activities.
  • Perform basic carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical, welding, and other maintenance work on grounds and related facilities. Cleans, adjusts and performs routine maintenance on assigned mechanical equipment.
  • Perform concrete and blacktop construction and repair activities. Installs and repairs curbs, gutters, sidewalks. Sets forms and expansion joints. Mixes and pours concrete. Spreads and finishes concrete in conformance with grade and contour plans.
  • Remove and install carpet; disassemble cubical
  • Assist in basic repair and maintenance
  • Digs ditches, fills trenches, and carries materials. Cleans-up after maintenance projects.

Qualifications:

  • Must have Active Secret Clearance.

  • AS/AA or 2 year tech school w/ 3 years experience or **HS/**GED w/ 5 years experience in construction, industrial arts, property management, or business administration.

  • Must be experienced in the safe handling and transportation of equipment in accordance with established SOP’s.

  • Must have experience in conducting equipment inventory and maintaining property accountability documentation

  • Must be able to lift 50lbs.

Pay Range:

This posting is for a position covered by the Service Contract Labor Standards (SCA). The pay and benefits provided for this position will meet or exceed the minimum required amounts detailed in the wage determination issued by the Department of Labor and made applicable to this position, as incorporated into CACI’s government contract for the work location.

Minimum Required Hourly Wage:

$22.44
