The Opportunity:
The Website Designer will be responsible for the ongoing maintenance and updates of the customer's public-facing website. This role ensures the website’s functionality, usability, and security are maintained at the highest standards, working closely with the Social Media Manager, Multimedia Content Creator, and other key personnel to meet the organization’s needs.
This position is contingent upon contract of award.
Responsibilities: Website Maintenance & Updates:

Manage the day-to-day operations of the customer website, ensuring content is up-to-date, well-organized, and easily accessible.

Post content, create new pages, and develop CMS templates as needed to reflect changes in customer strategic priorities.

Troubleshoot and enhance the performance, functionality, and reliability of the website to ensure a seamless user experience.
Design & User Experience:
-
Develop website design mockups that align with the organization’s branding and functional needs, including layout, color schemes, typography, and overall style.

Ensure the website’s design is responsive across desktop, tablet, and mobile platforms for optimal user interaction.

Create and implement user-friendly UI elements such as navigation menus, buttons, forms, and interactive features to improve usability.

Organize content to ensure ease of navigation, providing clear and intuitive access to key information.

Ensure integration of customer branding across all website elements, including logos, color palettes, and fonts.
Cross-Browser Compatibility & Security:

Conduct thorough browser testing to ensure the website performs consistently across various browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge).

Maintain compliance with DoD and customer security protocols, collaborating with the customer directorate as needed.

Monitor and ensure security compliance for both English and foreign language platforms.
Social Media & Content Collaboration:

Collaborate with the Social Media Manager and Multimedia Content Creator to ensure seamless integration of website content with social media efforts.

Create content for the customer website that aligns with DoD requirements and policies, ensuring consistency and accuracy in messaging.
Testing & Continuous Improvement:

Test website functionality regularly and recommend improvements to enhance performance, user experience, and engagement.

Ensure smooth transitions of seasonal or event-based content on the website, including timely updates and removals.
Emergency Support:
- Provide 24/7 support for urgent website issues or updates, including troubleshooting and maintenance during off-hours when necessary.
Qualifications:
Required:

This position requires an active Secret security clearance. Candidates must be U.S. citizens.

Bachelors in a relevant creative or technical field.
-
At least 5 years of experience in website design and maintenance, with proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and CMS platforms.
-
Preferred certifications include Adobe Certified Expert, Google Analytics, and Certified Usability Analyst.

Strong understanding of DoD-approved digital and social media platforms.
-
Proven experience in troubleshooting and providing emergency support for websites.
-
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

Expertise in responsive web design, content management, and user experience optimization.
Desired:

Previous experience with DOD’s AFPIMS CMS.

Defense Information School Qualification.
This position is contingent on funding and may not be filled immediately. However, this position is representative of positions within CACI that are consistently available. Individuals who apply may also be considered for other positions at CACI.

Pay Range:
There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$71,500 - $150,200
