Responsibilities:

  • Ensure System Security:

Operate, maintain, and dispose of systems in line with security policies and procedures.

  • Assess and Audit:

Conduct A&A, CM, and Review Management in accordance with DoD Instructions.

  • Maintain Security Posture:

Ensure changes to applications, systems, and environments do not compromise security compliance.

  • Vulnerability Management:

Monitor and validate vulnerability postures using ACAS, ensuring compliance with DISA STIGs and CSSP HBSS requirements.

  • Authority to Operate:

Prepare and submit ATO documentation to eMASS and XACTA.

  • Periodic Assessments:

Conduct regular assessments of authorized systems and develop corrective action plans.

  • Incident Reporting:

Report security incidents to the Facility Security Officer and assist with formal reporting.

  • User Activity Monitoring:

Analyze, store, and protect user activity monitoring data as per DCSA policies.

  • Continuous Monitoring:

Develop and execute a continuous monitoring strategy.

  • Cyber Security Training:

Create and oversee a cyber security awareness training program.

  • Team Player:

Collaborate effectively in a team environment and perform additional duties as needed.

Qualifications We’re Looking For:

  • Education:

B.S. in Information Technology/Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.

  • Experience:

  • Up to 5 years of related experience.

  • 5 years of monitoring system NIST compliance.

  • 3 years using eMASS and operating within RMF in DoD applications.

  • Required Skills:

  • Active TS security clearance.

  • Advanced knowledge of IT and networking (IP Networking, cyber security, or software development).

  • Proficiency in Windows Server, Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, and WSUS/SCCP.

  • Expertise in Microsoft Windows, Linux, and other required applications.

  • At least one active Department of Defense 8570.01-M IAT/IAM Level III certification (e.g., CASP+CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP).

  • Nice to Have:

  • Experience with ISSE/ISSO roles and managing classified systems.

  • Knowledge of Air Force cyber security policies.

  • Experience submitting ATO documentation in eMASS and Xacta.

  • Willingness to learn new technologies quickly.

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance.

Pay Range:

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$71,500 - $150,200
