The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking a skilled and experienced Unified Communications Administrator (Level 2) to join our dynamic team to support a DoD client in Suitland, MD. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Cisco Unified Communications Network-based Systems and a strong understanding of Department of Defense (DoD) and Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) VTC network requirements. This role requires a proactive approach to system design, development, and administration, with a focus on enhancing customer productivity and reducing costs.
Responsibilities:

Must be comfortable in high visibility and customer-facing environments.

System Administration: Responsible for the design, development, and administration of Unified Communications systems, including applications (Cisco Unified Call Manager (CUCM), Cisco Unity, Cisco Expressway) and their associated network hardware (Cisco Business Edition 7000 servers, Cisco Meeting Server (CMS), Cisco Meeting Management (CMM) server, Cisco VQ Conference Manager (VQCM) server).

Network Integration: Ensure all devices interface properly with the network.

System Re-engineering: Develop plans for re-engineering and replace legacy systems to improve customer productivity, enhance maintainability, and reduce costs.

Communication Skills: Demonstrate strong communication and multitasking skills.

Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service.

Administer and maintain Cisco Unified Communications systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement Unified Communications solutions that meet organizational needs.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to Unified Communications systems.

Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and best practices.
-
Conduct regular system audits and performance reviews to identify areas for improvement.

Provide training and support to end-users on Unified Communications applications and hardware.

Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in Unified Communications.
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor's degree in a STEM field.
-
3-5 years of experience with Cisco Unified Communications Network-based Systems. Candidates with 7+ years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.

Travel: Ability to travel within the National Capital Region (NCR) in support of UC operations.

Physical Requirements: Must be physically able to lift 50lbs, crawl, and walk long distances.

Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Visio and Office applications (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, and Outlook).

Pay Range:
There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$86,600 - $181,800
