Pricing Analyst Project Logistics Europe at C.H. Robinson

C.H. Robinson is seeking a Pricing Specialist to play a key role within our Project Logistics team, supporting bid and quote activities for complex, non‑standard, and high‑value international shipments.

The Project Logistics team focuses on bespoke, one‑off logistics projects, including oversized and specialized cargo. Each quotation is built from scratch and requires careful evaluation of cost, risk, and execution, making this role ideal for someone who enjoys analytical and commercial challenges.

As a Pricing Specialist, you will develop competitive multimodal pricing solutions across air and ocean freight, working closely with internal network teams, shared services, and customers to deliver the best possible solutions.

This role follows a hybrid working model, with three days per week in the office to support collaboration and knowledge sharing, combined with flexibility for remote work.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following:

• Prepare accurate and competitive pricing proposals for project logistics tenders and spot requests (air, ocean, road)
• Analyze cost structures, market trends, and risk factors to ensure profitable pricing strategies
• Coordinate with global offices, subcontractors, and service providers to obtain rates and technical input
• Manage end-to-end pricing processes, ensuring deadlines and customer requirements are met
• Maintain direct contact with customers to clarify scope, requirements, and commercial expectations
• Negotiate rates and terms with suppliers such as shipping lines, trucking companies, and crane operators
• Support commercial teams in client meetings and solution design
• Monitor and control budgets during the quotation phase and provide input for project execution teams
• Continuously optimize pricing models and tools to improve efficiency and accuracy

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

• At least 2 years of experience in operations, customer service, and/or pricing within Global Forwarding; Project Logistics experience is a strong advantage
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Commercial awareness and ability to balance competitiveness with profitability
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and assess complex scenarios
• Able to work effectively under pressure, manage deadlines, and demonstrate resilience in a fast‑paced environment

Preferred:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
• Fluency in Dutch
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs
• Commercial experience within C.H. Robinson and/or external logistical experience
• Ability to work cross-functionally and effectively influence and partner
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Demonstrated prioritization, time management, and attention to detail and accuracy skills
• Demonstrated strong decision-making skills, problem solving and conflict resolution skills, and ability to prioritize tasks between daily responsibilities
