Cap Cut, a Byte Dance product, is a leading all-in-one video editing platform empowering creators worldwide. We’re expanding our vibrant LATAM community and seeking a talented specialist to drive content excellence and creator growth in this dynamic region.
Cap Cut Template is a feature that allows users to create videos quickly and easily by applying pre-designed editing formats. Users simply insert their own media to generate a customized final video. These templates serve different types of users:
- Content creators who professionally use social platforms and rely on templates to scale production and engage with trends.
- Professional videomakers, editors, and small businesses looking for practical, high-quality solutions for promotion and communication.
- Casual social media users who want to participate in trends or create fun videos without needing editing skills.
As a project intern, you will have the opportunity to engage in impactful short-term projects that provide you with a glimpse of professional real-world experience. You will gain practical skills through on-the-job learning in a fast-paced work environment and develop a deeper understanding of your career interests.

As a Content & Creator Operations Specialist, you will fuel Cap Cut’s growth in LATAM by scaling high-quality content, nurturing creators, and enhancing our content ecosystem. You’ll bridge data-driven insights, cultural trends, and creator empowerment to boost user engagement and platform revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive Content Growth: Increase content volume and quality across LATAM to accelerate user acquisition and revenue.
End-to-End Content Operations:
- Identify content opportunities through app analytics, social media trends, and cultural insights.
- Curate and customize content strategies for target audiences using localized content elements.
- Manage content production cycles, collaborating with Cap Cut template creators on calibration.
- Plan in-app campaigns and cross-platform activities to amplify content reach and influence.
Strengthen Creator Ecosystem:
- Recruit high-quality creators aligned with platform needs and regional content trends.
- Build distinguishing advantages through strategic creator partnerships.
Creator Empowerment & Management:
- Diagnose creator pain points and skill gaps; deliver training on content strategy/editing.
- Design incentive policies and community guidelines to motivate and manage creators.
Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree.
- English proficiency (working language).
- Deep familiarity with LATAM social media and cultural trends; strong content sensitivity: ability to identify viral trends and emerging creators.
- Knowledge of short-video platforms and/or AI tools; basic video editing skills.
- Able to intern for 12 months.
- Strong logical thinking and problem-solving with data-driven mindset: ability to translate metrics into actionable strategies., and cross-cultural communication.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and resilient in fast-paced, global team environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience operating social media accounts (personal or professional) is a strong plus.
- Proficiency with mobile/desktop editing tools (e.g., Cap Cut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut) or AI tools is preferred.
