About the role

About the Team:

GTL, Global Third-party Logistics, is part of Byte Dance’s Southeast Asia e-commerce logistics organization. The team works closely with operations, hub, sortation, and cross-functional stakeholders to strengthen logistics execution, improve workforce productivity, and build data-driven management practices across the region.

We are looking for a Contract / Outsourced HRBP Support Specialist to join the GTL logistics team in Jakarta, Indonesia, based at Dunairex Sortation Center. This role is designed for a hands-on HR professional who is comfortable working close to frontline logistics operations while also bringing strong discipline in HR data processing, reporting, and system maintenance.

Unlike a traditional strategic HRBP role, this position will focus primarily on two practical areas: HR data processing and analytics, including Bitable database maintenance, performance data analysis, HR reporting, and daily HR system operations; and employee activities and administrative support, including engagement activities, team-building coordination, and routine HR execution support for the local logistics organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update HR data systems, including Bitable databases, employee information records, performance tracking tables, and other HR operation tools used by the GTL logistics team.
  • Process, consolidate, and validate HR and performance data on a regular basis, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across different sources and reporting cycles.
  • Prepare HR dashboards, reports, and analysis outputs to support performance reviews, workforce tracking, organizational observations, and management decision-making for logistics operations.
  • Support daily HR system operations, including data entry, data cleaning, workflow follow-up, record maintenance, and issue tracking related to HR processes.
  • Assist in planning and executing employee engagement activities, team-building events, recognition activities, and other culture-building initiatives for frontline and office-based logistics employees.
  • Provide daily HR administrative support to the local GTL team, including document preparation, meeting coordination, activity logistics, employee communication support, and follow-up on routine HR matters.
  • Work closely with HRBP, logistics operations leaders, and internal stakeholders to identify data gaps, operational follow-up items, and employee engagement needs, and ensure timely execution with clear ownership.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Management, Data Analytics, or a related field.

  • Relevant HR experience, preferably in HR operations, HRBP support, HR analytics, employee engagement, or administrative HR roles within fast-paced organizations.

  • Strong capability in data processing and reporting, with practical experience using spreadsheets, databases, dashboards, or collaborative data tools. Experience with Bitable, Airtable, Excel or similar tools is a strong plus.

  • Comfortable working with performance data, employee data, and operational information; able to identify inconsistencies, summarize findings, and translate data into clear insights for HR and business stakeholders.

  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong execution capability and attention to detail, with the ability to manage recurring data tasks, follow up on open items, and deliver accurate outputs within agreed timelines.

  • Good communication and coordination skills, with the ability to support employee activities, work with frontline logistics teams, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders in a practical and service-oriented manner.
