About the role

About team
We are the Engineering Architecture team of the PICO-Interactive Perception R&D Department. We are responsible for the architecture design and engineering implementation in the Interactive Perception Department. We focus on exploring the low-power consumption deployment of AI models, strive for excellence and aim to become an international team with leading technology.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in research and development tasks to explore new frontiers in 3D Avatar generative models and deep dive into advanced 3D geometry, texturing, human reconstruction, and animation techniques.
  • Contribute to project discussions, offering innovative ideas for 3D modeling and avatar generation/animation.
  • Collaborate closely with XFN teams to refine 3D Avatar Generative models in business operations and transform advanced technology into PICO products.
  • Document research findings clearly and contribute to research publications, patents, and presentations.

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or above, majoring in Computer Vision, Computer Graphics, Mathematics, Game Design, Digital Arts, Animation, or related fields.
  • Keen interest in developing expertise in 3D modeling, texturing, and avatar generation.
  • Have solid research and practical experience in one or more fields, including but not limited to the following aspects: 3D face/head/hand/full-body modeling, editing, and driving; Explicit and implicit representations of the face/head/hand/full-body, such as NeRF, 3DGS, Codec Avatar; Generative modeling (e.g., Diffusion or Transformer models) for 3D/4D reconstruction/generation.
  • Proficient in algorithm design and implementation, with strong programming skills (e.g., Python/C/C++).
  • Hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks, preferably Py Torch.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong research ability with publications in accredited computer vision and graphics conferences and journals (such as CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, SIGGRAPH, SIGGRAPH Asia, NIPS, ICML, PAMI, IJCV, TOG, TVCG, etc.).
  • Good communication skills, capable of collaborating well with team members.
  • Self-motivated, with a strong thirst for knowledge, curiosity, and initiative, timely pay attention to and learn about the latest technologies in the industry, and is passionate about tackling technical challenges.
