The Corporate Information System (CIS) is responsible for the construction of Byte Dance's information systems. By building cutting-edge information systems, it helps the company's business and organization achieve long-term, efficient operation and development. Meanwhile, it continuously conducts governance in terms of security, privacy, and compliance to safeguard the company's steady development. Byte Dance has a complex business model and a large user base. To date, the CIS has covered multiple fields such as human resources, finance, legal, procurement, approval, and workplace, with privacy and security work carried out in parallel, and AIGC innovation incubation gradually being implemented.

Responsibilities:

• Focus on compliance data center's lifecycle management, cost reduction, efficiency improvement, and stability;
• Be responsible for reliability and stability of Byte Dance's compliance data center, and be responsible for the SLA of related core PnS products;
• Participate in the design/development/improvement of stability-related products, including but not limited to efficiency, stability and others;
• Review the current architecture, identify application architecture risks, and solve or promote solutions to resolve/reduce architectural risks;
• Build/improve the monitoring and alarm mechanism, downgrade and contingency plan, organize and participate in drills, bleed-stopping, accident review and other stability work;
• Be passionate about architecture, cutting-edge technology and software development procedures, and be able to continuously improve operation and maintenance procedures, stop-bleeding plans, and improve the overall service operation quality; apply new technologies to serve teams and businesses.

Requirements:

• Minimum Qualification(s)

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent with 3+ years of relevant experience；

• Solid basic knowledge of computer software; understanding of the Linux operating system, storage, network IO and other related principles;

• Working experience with one or more of the following programming languages: Python/Go/C++;

• Good communication and collaboration skills;

• Proven experience in analyzing and troubleshooting distributed systems;

• Preferred Qualification(s)

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment;

• Good product sense and solid system design ability;

• Systematic/structured thinking, problem-solving skills, and a strong sense of ownership;

• Experience in large-scale distributed systems in the field of SaaS/PaaS/IaaS is preferred.
