Backend Software Engineer Intern (Graph Neural Network System, Cloud Infrastructure) - 2026 Start (BS/MS)

Team Introduction
The Infrastructure NoSQL team based in Singapore caters to the needs of Tik Tok and its affiliated mid-platforms and business lines. The team operates on a vast scale, managing tens of thousands of servers and handling data that exceeds the petabyte level. The team has developed its own distributed KV/caching systems, globally distributed table storage systems, and large-scale graph database products. Utilizing cutting-edge hardware and software stack technology, they are dedicated to advancing the next generation of products continually.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the design and development of our self-developed distributed Graph Neural Network (GNN) training/inference systems over a large-scale graph dataset;
• Apply Graph Embedding/GNN into real-world application scenarios, including but not limited to risk control, etc.

Requirements:

• Minimum Qualifications

• Undergraduate, Postgraduate and/or PhD students in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

• Familiar with C++, and Python development in Linux environment, familiar with multi-threading, network programming, cloud-native K8S, and other technologies;

• Familiar with Tensor Flow, Py Torch, and Ray framework;

• Possess good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.

• Preferred Qualifications

• Familiar with existing industry open source GE/GNN systems (e.g., DGL, PYG, Euler, Graph Learn, Big Graph, etc).

• Familiar with GNN algorithms, such Graph Sage, GAT, Genipath
