Data Center Business Development & Commercial Manager, Energy - Data Center Development, APAC

About the Team:

The Datacenter Development team is responsible for site selection, acquisition and delivery. We conduct deep analysis and form strategic partnership in the area of grid and energy (both conventional and renewable) as well as land.

• As the Energy Data Center Business Development & Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for the following but not limited to;
• Conduct due diligence and maintain an inventory of energy situation in the APAC region, covering grid, generation and decarbonization.
• Co-formulate Data Center site selection strategy.
• Work closely with regional public policy lead to engage and build relationships with energy regulators.
• Lead and develop strategic partnership with Government, utility companies, consultants and developers.
• Own the end-to-end power application process.
• Own energy-related deals and agreements.

Requirements:

• Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics or any Engineering discipline

• At least 5 years of relevant working experience in relevant field, with track record in handling grid application and energy contracting for Hyper-scale Data Centers

• Strong understanding of the energy sector, including the power and renewables markets.

• Proficient in financial modeling and analytical work.

• Capable of handling multiple tasks and working effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in a similar role within the data center and/or energy industry

• Flexible and willing to travel frequently on short notice
