Senior Machine Learning Engineer - Data Recommendation (Capcut)

Team Introduction:
Our team is responsible for the recommendation algorithms of video creation tools worldwide. We oversee recommendation distribution and user growth optimization across all Byte Dance apps, including Jianying, Cap Cut, and Hypic, to enhance content distribution efficiency and drive user growth.

Responsibilities:

• Globally optimize the core recommendation algorithms and strategies for video creation tools, including Cap Cut and Hypic.
• Enhance user growth efficiency by optimizing the distribution of content created with Cap Cut, Hypic, and other similar tools.
• Improve user experiences during creation by leveraging a deep understanding of user behavior and state-of-the-art machine learning technologies.

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Strong coding skills with a solid foundation in data structure and algorithms.
• Strong theoretical knowledge and practical experience in machine learning.
• Excellent problem analysis and solving skills, with passion for tackling challenging problems.
• Familiarity with one or more areas in machine learning, computer vision, natural language processing, or data mining.
