Seeking UX/UI Guidance from an entry level designer who can't land a job

I have been searching for a role during my master's degree (Fall 2025) to date, and I have not been able to land one. I have no trouble getting an internship, but landing a job in UX/UI dodges me like a cat dodging water. I tried applying with purpose, tailoring my resume, updating my portfolio, and attempting cold calls, but nothing is sticking. I even went through 4 rounds of interviews and still got ghosted. Hi! I’ve been working on a damage calculator app for iOS that’s a bit easier to use on mobile devices. With the upcoming release of Champions on mobile, this could be a useful tool. It works completely offline and is currently based on Pokémon Generation 9, featuring mechanics from previous games, Z-Moves, Dynamax, and Mega Evolutions.
