As a Service Now Integration Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the Service Now Integrations and Event Management workflows within the Service Now platform. You will collaborate with stakeholders, such as business analysts and IT teams, to gather requirements and implement solutions that enrich the Service Now platform and enhance the user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, test, and maintain Service Now Integrations following industry best practices.

Implement and communicate best practice principles for Integration implementations ensuring they are well documented and followed by developers, administrators, and 3rd party vendors.

Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver Integration solutions.

Lead the troubleshooting and resolution of issues/incidents with Integrations.
-
Accountable for Service Now Integration support and lifecycle management for new and existing Service Now Integrations.

Conduct regular sprint planning, backlog grooming, and sprint reviews during Integration development.
-
Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to ensure requirements are clearly understood and backlog items are prioritized.
-
Demonstrate a flexible and adaptive approach to accommodate changing requirements.
-
Ensure clear communication and transparency within the team and stakeholders.
-
Work with developers of external systems in situations where these systems require configuration or customization for an Integration.
-
Identify opportunities for new/improved Integrations and guide the design process along with product owners, business process analysts, and stakeholders.

Communicate with (platform) architect, business process analysts and stakeholders to identify current and future strategies for the platform.

Participate in daily stand-up meetings to provide progress updates and address any blockers.

Collaborate with ITQA, Cyber Security and Testing teams to ensure the quality and security of Integrations.

Must be self-directed with proven ability to make mature decisions supported by thorough data and process analysis.

Sharing knowledge and best practices with other team members through code reviews, pair programming, and training sessions.

Mentor and train junior Service Now developers.
Qualifications & Experience:
-
Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, related field, or equivalent work experience
-
3-5+ years of experience in Service Now development and implementation
-
Strong experience in developing and customizing Service Now Integrations.

Proficiency in Service Now platform functionalities, including Service Catalog, Flow Designer, Workflow Editor, and Integration Hub.

Solid understanding of IT service management (ITSM) principles and processes.

Experience with the development and maintenance of Service Now Integrations using various protocols such as REST, SOAP, LDAP, JDBC.

Experience with Service Now Event Management configuration and administration.
-
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
-
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
-
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Service Now Certified System Administrator (CSA), Certified Application Developer (CAD) or Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certification is a plus.

Experience implementing data transformations both in a file-based context and scripting.

Understanding of network architecture and the security implications on Integrations.

Strong understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
