Job Description:
The Intervention Engineer is an engineering position responsible for the design and planning activities related to intervention, integrity, and workover operations. Additionally, this role supports the wells operations team in delivering well intervention operations, maintaining a focus on delivering engineering support and assurance. The role also involves coaching and mentoring less experienced or junior Intervention Engineers.
This position may serve as the squad leader in agile teams, managing a team of Intervention Engineers and coordinating engineering activities across multiple work fronts to ensure excellent performance during well execution. Job Responsibilities:

Interprets well SORs and provide quality well services and/ or intervention engineering design through the well activity workflow process with all stage gate work you're doing in place.

Prepares design document in support of Safe, Reliable, and Compliant wells.

Develops Well services/intervention engineering well designs and programs to comply and in conformance with local and industry regulation, company HSSE standards, practices and procedures.

Develops, reviews, and verifies well programs and execution as per the local, industry and company practices and procedures.

Perform and review execution performance, identifying lessons learned and leads continuous improvement (CI) based on lessons learned.

Involve and prepare the contract SoW and Remuneration and able to participate in Contract account manager (CAM) role.

To prepare in budgetary preparation for completion/workover to support the FM/AFE generation and the early field development costs.

Understand and prepare in generate the risks management and profile of the related well-services / intervention activities.

Review and manage well handover from Well to Production Operations and vice-versa.

Review the quality assurance and provide an expertise in the design review process of the engineered equipment.

Participation in well intervention community of practices, transfer of knowledge, best practices, and appropriate new technologies regionally and globally.

Involve and possible to lead in related incident investigations and defect elimination.

Maintain very good relationship with contractors/suppliers to ensure a high level of performance and technical integrity.

Perform detailed engineering quality for the modeling/simulations and programs.
-
Mentor, coach, and develop less experienced engineers in the C&I team.
Qualifications & Requirements:
-
Have a good safety record and understanding in Oil and Gas industry and have a good behavior and business ethical conduct.
-
At proven experience in Oil and Gas Industry with a demonstrated ability in Well services/intervention engineering and operation and hold a minimum of Engineering Bachelor.

Well control IADC/IWCF certificate and knowledge in completion, workover and intervention with a supervisory level.
-
Ability to run and analyze at minimum the tension simulation i.e. Cerberus modeling with a benefit in understanding of the tubing stress analysis modelling.

Have a competency in high rate dry gas and big bore well intervention design and execution.
-
Have an experience with workover and intervention activities in high rate dry gas well i.e. Slickline, Wireline, and Coiled Tubing.

Have a knowledge and experience of Indonesia procurement process and ability to have a relationship with SKKMigas/ESDM and other operators in Indonesia.
Key Relationships:
Work as a one team spirit with all interested parties in supporting to have a robust well work-over and intervention planning and actively involve during execution of the job. Candidate will be working with multidisciplinary team i.e. subsurface team, production team and project team. The candidate is also working with regional wells team and also global wells team i.e. SME, Advisors and subject area engineer.
