About the Role
The Industrial Technical Services Specialist – TUCA represents Castrol’s technical expertise for industrial customers across Turkey, acting as the link between Castrol products, services, and customer operations.
The role is primarily field‑based and focuses on delivering practical, value‑adding technical services that support safe, reliable, and efficient industrial operations. Working closely with Sales, Marketing, and external partners, the role contributes to value‑based selling, builds long‑term technical partnerships with customers, and supports sustainable business growth through effective service delivery and continuous improvement.
What You Will Deliver
- Execute the Technical Services plan for Turkey, aligned with business strategy and commercial priorities
- Deliver front‑line technical support to industrial customers through structured problem diagnosis, site inspections, and solution development
- Embed Castrol technical standards, lubrication practices, and application guidance into field‑level service delivery
- Apply reliability engineering and condition monitoring techniques to identify risks and improvement opportunities across customer operations
- Convert field insights into clear technical recommendations, customer value propositions, and improvement initiatives
- Lead value improvement projects, technical case studies, and field trials supporting new products and service offerings
- Build technical capability across partners and internal stakeholders through effective knowledge sharing and field engagement
- Support value‑based selling by contributing technical input while managing multiple field initiatives in line with HSE and compliance requirements
What you will need to be successful
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or Materials Engineering preferred)
- 5–8 years of experience in industrial maintenance, lubrication, or reliability‑focused roles
- Practical knowledge of industrial lubrication applications, reliability engineering, and condition monitoring methods
- Experience working with industrial customers in the Turkish market
- Ability to convert technical findings into clear commercial and operational recommendations
- Analytical problem‑solving skills applied in operational and field‑based environments
- Clear and professional communication skills when engaging technical and non‑technical stakeholders
- Confident, professional presence when representing Castrol during customer interactions
- Structured and practical approach to managing customer issues and service delivery
- Commercial awareness when evaluating technical decisions and solutions
- Ability to enable, guide, and support technical capability development across partner and internal teams
- Capability to balance multiple priorities in a role that requires frequent travel
Additional Role Requirements
- The role involves extensive field engagement and regular customer site visits
- Valid Class B driving licence
- Willingness to travel approximately 70% of the time, primarily across Turkey, with occasional travel to Ukraine and Central Asia
