- Develop and maintain electrical design standards for power distribution, grounding, motor control, MCCs, VFDs, heat trace, and facility power systems.
- Specify and procure electrical equipment including power distribution equipment, transformers, MCCs, VFDs, motor starters, heat tracing systems, and electrical panels.
- Oversee purchasing and supply chain activities related to electrical scope, including scheduling, ordering, expediting, and cost tracking.
- Evaluate alternative electrical designs and equipment selections, assessing impacts to safety, reliability, operability, and cost.
- Review electrical portions of equipment RFPs for facilities (separators, heaters, VRUs, Instrument Air skids, compressors, coolers, etc.).
- Participate in HAZOP / PHA design reviews, providing electrical and power system expertise.
- Work closely with Facilities Engineering to align electrical design with mechanical, process, and civil requirements.
