Commercial Development Advisor!
The key objective of the Commercial Development Advisor is to contribute to the establishment of the integrated ANZ MC&M strategy and to implement the strategy within Midstream to defend and grow the supply business.
The Commercial Development Advisor is a key enabler that will lead the identification and assessment of commercial optimisation opportunities within Midstream and across the operating collaborate with ST&S. This role will contribute to the continued evolution of Midstream through the development and delivery of transformational initiatives across all key NZ supply envelops and asset footprint.
Further, this role is responsible for coordinating regulatory reporting submissions for bpnz, is a subject matter expert for the New Zealand ETS obligation and holds the relationship with the ST&S low carbon trading team.
What you will deliver :

Lead the identification and assessment of supply and infrastructure commercial optimisation opportunities and act as Commercial SPA on project activities that maximises total integrated value across ST&S and ANZ MC&M.

Contribute to internal governance for the investment decisions on strategic projects, including leading commercial development and economic modelling in accordance with bp CVP and GIAAP processes.

Lead the development and execution of the ANZ Midstream transformation strategy for AU assets to deliver medium to long-term competitive positions across all supply envelops.

Collaborate across Midstream and other business segments to encourage integrated decision-making, knowledge-sharing and continuous improvements.

Contribute to the buy/sell negotiations process with OOC’s, ensuring term supply deals are aligned to long-term strategic objectives.

Coordinate the bpnz submission for Commerce Commission obligations.

Lead the forecasting process and nomination to BPEA such that bpnz aligns with the ETS carbon obligation in a cost-efficient manner.

You will work with

Direct team members and all other teams within the Midstream, e.g. B2B, Supply, Infrastructure, Logistics, Pricing.

All relevant commercial and technical peers within existing business, e.g. BPEA, Airbp, Marine, M&C, F&D.

All relevant functional teams, e.g. Legal, Finance, Gov. Affairs, S&OR, etc.

External counterparties, e.g. OOC’s, 3P infrastructure / service providers.
