Job Description:
Let me tell you about the role
Responsible for delivering the indirect sales strategy and financial performance targets including Sales Volume, Gross Margin and Overdue, handling local distributor partners and intermediaries/resellers in the sales territory or geography, finding prospect partners, mentoring distributors and supervising their financial position to ensure long term balanced value for the company. The scope of the role will influence the grade – this can include financial accountability, geographical scope, leadership responsibilities and overall level of responsibility
What you will deliver

Area Sales Manager

Bike- To ensure full compliance to all HSSE and Ethics standards – responsible for clear and detailed communication and raising the awareness of HSSE to Distributor partners, customers, and contractors. The appropriate training and education program will need to be implemented with regular HSSE audits

To achieve and exceed the Volume and benchmark targets for Distributor channel – responsibility not limited to sell-in car volume/value only but also be responsible for sell-out car volume/value of distributors to workshops, this includes the implementation of go-to-market strategy and strategic marketing program within the channel.

To improve Efficiency and Productivity – responsible for ensuring the company’s resources fully applied for mutual benefit of the company and customers, improving the customer facing and selling efforts through the lowest cost to serve.

To ensure excellence in execution of company business plan and activities through Distributor Sales Representative (DSR) which includes; Complete Range selling, Merchandising, and Outlet penetration. This could be done by building DSR capability and working process through WCSC field mentor and appropriate training.

Handle business relationships with distributors, key workshop owners, and key customers, as well as coordinating with internal cross-functional teams.

Co-ordinate and support coordinated lubes business management (LBM) with high quality forecasting, and demand planning in responsible area.

OMS: Risk – Personal safety: Provide a safe working environment by systematically identifying and assessing safety hazards and mitigating the potential risks to people – driving safety is the top priority.

Customer focus: Develop and maintain transparent, balanced BP customer relationships.

Act as response team member for crisis / continuity management, with accountabilities consistent with relevant response plans and as assigned by the response team leader
What you will need to be successful (experience and qualifications)

Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience in any field.
-
Preferably Business Admin or Economic Experience (years and nature)
-
Demonstrated ability in sales with more than 2 years experiences of sales management, including exposure to major customer and distributor management will be advantage.

Demonstrated track record of performance delivery and value creation both internally & externally
-
Spoken & written English will be an advantage

Flexible to travel to work in up-country

Excel and PowerPoint are necessary
