About the role

  • Business Development: Develop and execute an aggressive sales strategy to win new business and establish a strong market presence.

  • Strategic Customer Engagement: Cultivate and deepen strategic relationships with key decision-makers and engineers within Hyundai's R&D, purchasing, and other relevant departments.

  • Technical & Commercial Leadership: Serve as the primary technical and commercial liaison for customers, leading presentations, and spearheading the entire commercial process from quotation to contract negotiation.

  • Project & Pipeline Management: Build and manage a robust sales pipeline from initial lead generation to final project award, collaborating closely with internal teams to ensure seamless execution.

  • Market Intelligence: Act as the voice of the customer internally, providing critical market feedback, trend analysis, and competitor insights to global R&D and product strategy teams

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Automotive, Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering or relevant area education.

  • Experience (Sales): A minimum of 5 years of technical sales or business development experience targeting Hyundai Motor Group or other major automotive OEMs.

  • Experience (Project Management): Proven experience in managing powertrain-related projects with automotive OEMs.

  • Experience (Commercial): A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in quotation, contract negotiation, and leading technical/price negotiations.

  • Experience (Global): At least 3 years of experience working effectively within a multinational, matrix-based organization.

  • Experience (Leadership): Demonstrated experience in managing and mentoring a team.

  • Core Competency: A genuine passion for the electric vehicle industry and a relentless drive to win new business in a highly competitive market.

  • Language: Full professional fluency in both written and spoken Korean & English is mandatory.
