Sample Target Coster

Your tasks

In this role, you will drive cost optimization, process standardization, and performance improvement initiatives while collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders across the organization.

You will play a key role in enhancing efficiency, transparency, and profitability throughout the sample production and delivery process.

Your responsibilities

• Lead and continuously improve the end-to-end sample value stream, defining standards, processes, tools, and best practices across the organization
• Drive process harmonization, governance, rollout activities, and stakeholder training to ensure consistent execution
• Coordinate sample volume planning and consolidate demand forecasts in alignment with business, sales, and project stakeholders
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators related to cost, scrap, quality, delivery performance, and production volumes
• Initiate escalation and corrective actions in case of performance deviations affecting capacity, quality, delivery, or costs
• Develop and implement cost improvement projects aligned with profitability and operational efficiency targets
• Define and manage cost targets for sample-related projects and track progress against agreed objectives
• Collaborate with purchasing, engineering, manufacturing, and business teams to identify and realize cost reduction opportunities
• Drive material and manufacturing cost optimization initiatives and ensure sustainable implementation of improvement measures
• Provide transparent performance reporting and support management decision-making through data-driven insights
• Act as a central point of contact for sample process governance, continuous improvement, and operational excellence
• Foster cross-functional collaboration to strengthen efficiency, cost competitiveness, and customer satisfaction throughout the sample lifecycle

Your profile

• University degree in Economics, Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in a comparable role
• Strong analytical mindset combined with a structured and result-oriented way of working
• Proven ability to take ownership, demonstrate leadership, and drive initiatives independently
• Entrepreneurial thinking with a proactive and solution-focused attitude
• Strong execution skills with a track record of successfully implementing improvements and delivering results
• Advanced reporting and data analysis skills
• Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively across functions and drive alignment among diverse stakeholders
• Fluent English language skills, both written and spoken
• German language skills are considered an advantage
