Wiring Harness Design Specialist- Siemens NX

Key Responsibilities 1. Project Specific (Must Have)Create and develop wiring harness 3D routing using Siemens NX Electrical Routing module as per packaging and design requirements Prepare 2D flattening drawings of wiring harnesses including wire lengths, bundle diameters, and branch details Define and manage connectors, clips, clamps, protective coverings (corrugated tubes, tapes, sleeves) in NX library Perform routing feasibility, bend radius checks, clearance analysis, and ensure compliance with design standards Generate and maintain BOM, wiring tables, and harness documentation for manufacturing and validation Ability to assess electrical characteristics and influences on EMC owing to Wiring harness design 2. General Responsibilities Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills Utilize strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration Apply problem-solving skills, analytical and logical thinking to engineering challenges Maintain goal-oriented approach as a team player with focus on quality Work proactively with quick learning ability and handle tasks independently Required Skills & Qualifications Technical Skills (Must Have)Medium to expert level user of UG-NX, Teamcenter, and AutoCADGood knowledge of electrical components and ability to read data sheets Good knowledge in GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)Experience coordinating with tooling suppliers from end to end Proficiency in usage of config files, templates, and knowledge of mechanical standards Soft Skills Excellent oral and written communication skills Strong interpersonal skills Problem-solving skills with analytical and logical thinking abilities Goal-oriented, team player, quality-focused Proactive, quick learner, and capable of handling tasks independently
