
Hardware Project Manager at Bosch
About the role
As a Hardware Project Manager, you will represent hardware development in complex automotive projects while ensuring seamless collaboration across multiple engineering domains. You will play a key role in driving project success from concept to implementation.
Your tasks:
- Representing hardware development in internal and external negotiations and meetings
- Ensuring regular communication and alignment with cross-functional teams (e.g. Mechanics, Software)
- Leading 8D and problem-solving teams
- Defining and overseeing project timelines, resources, budgets and technical specifications
- Coordinating, implementing and tracking project changes throughout the development lifecycle
- Establishing, deploying and monitoring hardware requirements
- Preparing risk assessments and mitigation strategies for senior management and customers
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics or a related field
- Experience in automotive hardware development
- Strong knowledge of power electronics, circuit design, PCB layout and automotive standards
- Proven project management experience, including timeline, budget and resource coordination
- Excellent communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Fluent English language skills (written and spoken)
