  • Continuous improvement of production test programs for automotive ICs on Automated Test Equipment (ATE)
  • Support/lead tasks and projects from development to release for mass production
  • Improve test programs for quality, test time and yield by modifying existing or introducing new test methods
  • Modify or enhance corresponding test specifications
  • Execute release activities to qualify modifications for production usage
  • Collect and analyze data to secure test methods in full self-responsibility
  • Cooperate with different development and production teams at various locations including both internal functions and external suppliers
  • Transfer test techniques between different tester platforms or locations
  • Special condition – If required, candidate must be willing to travel for Short Term Assignment (STA) with the duration of 6 months.
  • Masters/Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical / Electronics / Microelectronics / Semiconductor Technology)
  • More than 2 years of experience in semiconductor test development and familiar with Power & Mixed Signal Automated Test Equipment (ATE)
  • Experience in Advantest V93K and automotive IC is an added advantage
  • Experience in ATE measurement equipment (oscilloscope, thermostream, prober/handler basic operation)
  • Experience with basic programming knowledge such as C, C++, Visual Basic and etc.
  • Knowledge of statistical data analysis is preferred
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • A team player with focalized work method, acting own driven responsible, cooperative, having good communication skills
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken); Knowledge in German is an added advantage

PgP5 Plant is Bosch Group’s newest expansion in Malaysia a semiconductor test site in Batu Kawan Penang. The construction has begun in May 2021 and first series of production to commence in 2023. With the long-term forecasts for growth of semiconductor component quantities, coupled with the front-end production in Bosch’s Dresden facility in Germany, capacity expansion is required for the back-end production, which is the final testing phase of semiconductors and sensors. PgP5 will primarily focus on the final testing of components manufactured at Bosch Automotive Electronics’ fab in Dresden, Germany. The plant will also house R&D and training facilities.
