About the role
Responsible for planning materials and following up on critical components, analyzing possible response times due to new requirements. The main task is to have the materials on time and in the required quantity. Direct day-to-day negotiation with suppliers, in addition to inventory control. Also responsible for scheduling production according to customer orders and the capacity of the production area, taking into account the availability of materials and inventories in the distribution warehouses, as well as production capacity.

Raw material planning process: Responsible for the planning process, continuously reviews the shortage report in AddOne to verify possible risks, Creates Purchase Orders according to requirements based on demand based on LT0, communicates with suppliers to obtain confirmations and potential delivery risks, understanding in detail the possible causes of delays. Is responsible for ETD/ETA of its suppliers.

Maintenance of the MRP Add One system: keep the Vendor Profile of the assigned suppliers updated.

Maintenance of the MRP SAP (PPT) system: Is responsible for ensuring that the data shown in the MRP is correct and updated. Such as update notes, dates, and comments in the different assigned views.

Supervision of inventory levels and total coverage time: Analyze and maintain the optimal level of raw material inventory. Is responsible for monitoring daily the inventory levels available in the plant and in transit. Timely communicates risks due to lack of material or other variables that may affect timely supply. Communicates and escalates all details of possible shortages such as root cause, impacts, and recovery dates. Will keep a weekly record of such events. The material planner has close communication with the Scheduler and must immediately report risks. Is responsible for ensuring that the purchase orders that are "in transit" are real and confirmed, as this is part of the plant's inventory value. Is responsible for reacting immediately to demand variations (+/-15%), in order not to bring in inventory that will not be used.

Review and follow-up of material shipments: Is responsible for generating istars when required in addition to not exceeding the budget for air shipments for the business unit, must resolve in time according to the standard the discrepancies that may be generated in the istar closing process (quantities, errors in invoices, incorrect calculations in weights or dimensions, etc.)

Review and follow-up of blocked invoices for release: Is responsible for following up on invoices detected in time with problems through the PM7 workflow. In addition to following up on discrepancies in the receiving area due to differences between the invoice and quantities received.

Flexibility Agreements: Is responsible for the preparation and signing of the Flexibility Agreement document (logistics agreements) with the assigned suppliers for Inventory reduction.

Creation, review, and publication of BTS (build to schedule) to production (email or physical delivery of the plan), as well as generating production orders when the process requires it.

Review of coverage and inventory levels in distribution centers.
