[Bosch R&D - Internship] Data Engineering Intern

Bosch first started in Vietnam with a representative office in 1994. Bosch has its main office in Ho Chi Minh City, with branch offices in Hanoi and Da Nang, and a Powertrain Solutions plant in the Dong Nai province to manufacture push belt for continuously variable transmissions (CVT) in automobiles. In addition, Bosch operates a software and engineering solutions from product engineering, tool development & automation as well as testing & validation solutions (Bosch Global Software Technologies Vietnam).

In July 2014, Bosch set up a new Automotive R&D Center, located in Ho Chi Minh City. The continuous growth of this Centre is in line with Bosch’s strategy in Vietnam, which aims at becoming a manufacturing and R&D hub in the Southeast Asian region. Currently four products are available: connectors, push belt, fuel supply, and diagnosis module (tank leakage).

• Designing and implementing data pipelines from multiple sources using Azure Databricks or Hadoop ecosystem.

• Developing scalable and re-usable frameworks for ingesting of data sets.

• Integrating end to end data pipeline - to take data from source systems to target data repositories ensuring quality and consistency of data is maintained at all times.

• Working with event based / streaming / scheduling technologies to ingest and process data.

• Write python script to process data according to the needs from other engineers.

• Build dashboard using Power BI or Tableau to fulfill the need from end users.

• Evaluating the performance and applicability of multiple tools for the automated data pipeline.

• Involve in application development using low-code platforms such as Power Apps and Out Systems.

• Involve in AI solution development in the organization focus on building python script for data processing.

• Undergraduate student majoring in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology or any equivalent field with strong foundation in data structure and algorithms.

• Basic experience in designing, developing, deploying and/or supporting data pipelines using Databricks, Azure, Open Shift, Virtual Machine.

• Basic experience in building dashboard using Power BI, Tableau.

• Proficient in programming languages like Py Spark and Python.

• Good understanding of SQL and API.

• Good at computational problem solving.

• Knowledge and experience with knowledge graph is a plus.

• Ability to work independently, proactive, detail-oriented with willingness to learn and apply new technologies.
